Iconic Lookout and Open-Air Gallery. The original mining tower will be transformed into an open landmark — our own „Eiffel Tower“ — connecting mining history with art and breathtaking views of the Beskydy Mountains. The tower will serve as a unique presentation space with a permanent exhibition, guiding visitors through the mine’s history and the vision for Cérka’s future. The journey to the top offers an unforgettable panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Access will be available year-round via an automated terminal and a one-way exit system, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for all visitors.

The tower’s frame will become a natural part of the public space, serving as:

• A Legacy Site: a proud monument commemorating the mining history of our region.
• An Open-Air Gallery: a freely accessible space hosting modern art, primarily in collaboration with the University of Ostrava.

Educational Centre for Entrepreneurship, STEM, and Semiconductor Technology. The Innovation Tower breathes new life into one of the original mining landmarks, transforming it into a multi-functional beacon for semiconductor awareness, technical education, and collaboration. At its heart lies the Education Centre, featuring a permanent semiconductor exhibition that engagingly links the region’s mining past with its high-tech future. The space is not a passive museum; it is a „living lab“ equipped with testing technology directly from industrial partners. This symbiosis enables unique educational programmes and tech-focused „outdoor schools“, allowing students to gain practical skills through direct contact with cutting-edge technology.

Beyond basic education, the tower acts as a key hub for technology transfer and strategic networking. Dedicated floors offer neutral ground for meetings between companies, university researchers, and talented students. This „interdisciplinary incubator“ facilitates joint projects, consultations with experts from the National Semiconductor Cluster, and real-time prototype testing.

Education for the 21st Century. In the heart of Cérka, we are building a modern educational complex that connects the nursery and primary schools into a single conceptual whole. Our goal is to create a safe and inspiring environment where educational stages naturally follow one another while respecting the individuality of every child.

Nursery School: A place for playful discovery in close contact with nature.

• Capacity: 24 children in two mixed-age groups.
• Approach: an accredited programme based on modern and alternative methods supporting natural child development.
• Facilities: located on the ground floor with direct access to outdoor play areas.

Primary School: Modern education that evolves beyond the traditional school model.

• Capacity: 160 students in small groups of 20, allowing for a personalized approach.
• Alternative Teaching: an accredited school focused on innovative methods that develop critical thinking and creativity.
• Outdoor Connection: classrooms designed to seamlessly integrate outdoor learning.
• Shared Amenities: a modern cafeteria emphasizing healthy, local nutrition.

The entire complex is designed as an environmentally friendly building. The school’s own kitchen, providing meals for both stages, is the heart of the building, focusing on freshness and quality.

Cérka is about an active lifestyle. We are building modern outdoor sports facilities serving recreational athletes, local clubs, and professionals alike.

• Multi-purpose Court: a universal 18 × 30 m area with night lighting for small-sided football, netball, volleyball, basketball, and tennis.
• Climbing Wall: an 8-metre high concrete tower with climbing routes on three sides, ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
• Pumptrack: an adrenaline-fuelled 1,300 m² circuit of waves and banked turns for bikes, scooters, skateboards, and in-line skates.
• Skatepark: a 500 m² concrete paradise featuring a bowl, banks, stairs, hubba, and radii for all skill levels.

An open and vibrant space for daily gatherings, culture, and creativity. It is a place where tradition meets modern life — built by locals, for locals.

• Grand Hall: capacity for 300 people with a raised gallery seating an additional 124 guests.
• Small Hall: an intimate space for events up to 50 people.
• Multi-functional Clubrooms: spaces for club activities, informal meetings, or shared coworking.
• Café & Play Area: a cosy environment for families, featuring a children’s play area and space for small-scale cultural performances.

The University of Ostrava brings a unique „Field Station“ concept to Cérka. Instead of traditional city classrooms, it offers a modern base where theory meets practice in the Beskydy landscape.
